Site Description
The house is in the bottom left corner of the plot with surrounded by farm land a wood and the lane leading into the village.

There was an existing avenue of limes which appeared to have no purpose and a meadow area and an existing garden which sloped away behind the house with little or no planting.

The garden had some maturity but no sense of cohesion and lacked interest other than the natural landscape which surrounded the property.

Design Brief
The drive was realigned to make use of the avenue of limes and the garden was terraced to do away with the slope and create a more formal space with colour and interest.

We created a wildflower meadow to the left of the drive and a further smaller meadow with fruit trees.
